Hi Kevin, sorry that I just noticed your question. Originally, the first six volumes were called The Meisha Merlin collection. I believe that Virginia Heinlein selected the first six books. I heard a story that she selected “I Will Fear No Evil” as the first volume because of all the people that had questioned the way it was published. At any rate, Meisha Merlin went out of business. Another publishing company was selected and they reprinted the first six volumes in the original order. The following forty volumes are in a more logical order.

It’s not chronological. Just curious. (I would have asked this question via the Facebook page, but I quit Facebook on January 1)

Today, I am 65 and own the full Virginia Edition. I have just donated to become a life member. Please pass on my thanks to Mrs Heinlein for the work Robert produced that so enriched my life over the years.

Do I get a raffle entry ?
Like every other rational human I desperately desire a Virginia Edition. I would love to buy a new Virginia Edition, both to have the books and to support the good works of the Society, but I can’t afford it. In the unlikely event that I do NOT win a free set I will continue to occasionally search for it second-hand. To date I have not seen even one offered. As these must come on the market now and then I think I am not looking in the right places. Can you offer any suggestions ?
Thanks
Tom
